The Club
History
The history of Handball in Plymouth dates back to 2012. Supported by the interest in Handball generated by the home Olympics, a Sportivate program was offered at Marjon University. This resulted in a Handball club in Plymouth, which popularised the sport but provided mostly another recreational activity and few competitive opportunities. The club survived until the pandemic but had trouble maintaining participation numbers at the end. The new club, established as Development Project in 2022, is now taking a different approach and aims to offer as many competitive or friendly matches as possible and expand provision in the South West.
What is Handball?
Yes, it's explained by Americans for Americans, but the reality of Handball is very much the same as in the UK.

Donations & Support
If you feel you can’t play, but you would like to support the sport or our mission in any other way, you are very welcome and we are very grateful.
Currently, money would help a lot but we are also in need of people who would support events, administration, and advertisement.
